A Compassionate Guide on Your Journey Toward Healing

As a specialist in anxiety, and OCD. I offer a compassionate and targeted approach to address the most challenging anxiety and OCD symptoms. My expertise lies in evidence-based techniques including Exposure and Response Prevention-ERP, CBT and I-CBT which are proven to reduce anxiety, OCD symptoms, and overall stress.

I will work collaboratively with you to implement effective strategies to manage symptoms and reclaim a sense of balance and a calm mind. I understand how overwhelming and frightening anxiety and OCD can be, and I work hard to help my clients meet their goals of reducing symptoms.

Counseling Session Scene

My Therapeutic
Approach

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, and OCD. I target these issues by implementing the evidenced-based treatments of CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Therapy with me will be collaborative and structured to help you make meaningful progress towards accomplishing your goals of symptom reduction.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

We'll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to shift unhelpful patterns.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure and response prevention (ERP) is an evidence-based form of CBT that offers effective treatment for various conditions including anxiety, phobias, and OCD.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

I'll introduce grounding and mindfulness practices to help you stay present, manage overwhelming emotions, and reconnect with your body.

Narrative Therapy

Your story matters. We'll examine the narratives you've been told (and told yourself) and work together to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.

Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)

I-CBT is emerging as an additional evidenced based treatment for OCD and is particularly helpful in targeting the faulty reasoning patterns  that fuel the OCD experience.

Clinical
Experience

The trust my clients place in me is something I never take for granted. Here's what some of them have shared about our work together. (Names have been changed to protect patient privacy)

"Ashley created a space where I felt truly heard and understood."

"When I first came to therapy, I felt like I had lost my spark and no longer felt like myself. I struggled to find my way back to the confident and happy person I used to be.

From the very beginning, Ashley created a space where I felt truly heard and understood. She listened carefully to everything I shared without judgment and always made me feel supported. Her thoughtful guidance, insight, and advice helped me see situations from a new perspective and gave me the tools I needed to grow and heal.

Through our work together, Ashley helped me rebuild my confidence and reconnect with myself. The progress I have made has been life-changing, and I am so grateful for her support throughout the process. Today, I feel like my spark has returned. I feel stronger, more confident, and more like myself than I have in a long time. Ashley played a huge role in helping me get to this point, and I cannot thank her enough for the positive impact she has had on my life."

- Rachel

"She has never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed of my obsessive thoughts."

"When I began working with my therapist 18 months ago, my OCD was the most severe it had been in more than a decade. From the very beginning, she created an environment where I felt safe, understood, and never judged. Rather than pushing me into exposure work before I was ready, she met me where I was and patiently helped me build the confidence to take each next step. She offered gentle encouragement and thoughtful reminders, but always respected my pace, which made it possible for me to engage in treatment in a meaningful way.

This is the longest I have ever worked with the same behavioral therapist, and I believe that is because of her kindness, compassion, and genuine understanding that every person's journey with OCD is different. She continually seeks out new approaches and evidence-based strategies to help her patients, giving me hope that I can continue improving my quality of life. She has never made me feel embarrassed or ashamed of my obsessive thoughts. Instead, she has consistently treated me with empathy, respect, and unwavering support. I am deeply grateful for the positive impact she has had on my life, and I truly believe her presence has been a gift from God."
